Salesmanship is the art or skills of a person in selling. It is an art of influencing another person for the object of persuading him to buy specific product.

The important of salesmanship is to help create demand for new products or new brands. As it wins the buyer’s confidence so it helps to make regular and permanent customers. He helps to establish close relationship between the manufacturer and consumer

Being a salesman is too difficult. You really need to waste your saliva just to sell or introduce the product of your company. They should know how to sales talk there product. It’s the salesman job to inform the customer about the usefulness commodity of the product. The salesman needs to be more patient in introducing the company’s product, be more active and most specially be friendly to all so that the people will get interested. The salesman exists for two reasons: first, custom; secondly, because it is obvious that even the best informed buyer cannot know everything, and the well- posted salesman is in a position to give him information about the article for sale.

If you’re a good salesmanship you must have the honesty, concern for the customer first, a friendly personality, ambition and self-motivation as well as self-discipline. Above all, a positive, optimistic attitude will bring forth not only a lot of money, but happiness and freedom only few people will ever enjoy.
