Public Speaking

Public Speaking is speaking to a group of people in a structured manner with the intention to inform, influence, or entertain the audience. It is the process of speaking to a group of people in a structured, deliberate manner intended to inform, influence, or entertain the listeners. Public speaking also is more than talking to an audience from a podium. When you speak to others, its public speaking. That includes: conference calls, panel discussions, board meetings, speeches, interviews and even small talk.

And if you sell your message it was also like you sell your self. And with that it was your image and reputations are the most important.

Well, we know that public speaking is a common source of stress for everyone. Many of us would like to avoid this problem entirely, but this is hard to do. But we don’t have any choice, because we need to speak in public to get certain tasks accomplished. However public speaking is not as scary as we perceive it to be. In fact, most who speak publicly on a structured subject can’t wait to give their next speech. Your first experience with public speaking might not turn out to be the professional outing that you had hoped for. Possibly it could even turn out to be a complete failure in your own eyes.

If you speak in public, you can now called orator. To be a good orator you should be able to invoke emotion in their listeners, not just inform them.  A good orator also must master the basic speaking skills, such as use of inflections, gestures, and vocal variety. If you have that all, you can now deliver your speech in a public very well.
